DIY eBlocker - Software Installation

Download one of our latest eBlockerOS versions and write it to an SD card. You will need an 8Gb Class 10 SD card, the eBlockerOS image and a program to write the image.

First, download the eBlockerOS image for your hardware:

Please download the software only if you agree to our license terms (EULA).

To write the eBlockerOS image to an SD card, you need software. We recommend the free and easy to use program Etcher (https://etcher.io). Etcher is available for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Now insert your SD card into your computer and start the Etcher program. Select the downloaded image and write the image to the SD card.

Remove the SD card and insert it into your Raspberry, or Banana Pi. Connect the Raspberry, or Banana Pi, to your network and then to the power supply. The eBlocker will then start, which can take about 5 minutes.

Open a browser and go to http://setup.eblocker.com. At the top right of the browser you will now see the eBlocker icon. Click on the icon and then click on "Register" in the eBlocker Control Bar.

So you can start using your eBlocker right away, we offer you a free 30-day trial license. You can order these on the website. Shortly afterwards you will receive an e-mail from us in which you will find your personal trial license. With this test license you can now register the eBlocker and test it for 30 days.

Important tip: After you have registered the eBlocker, make an update to the latest eBlockerOS. The update can take up to 10 minutes.
